Former President Bill Clinton and former Vice President Walter Mondale will help dedicate a memorial to Hubert H. Humphrey on Aug. 4 outside the Minnesota State Capitol.
The program, which is free and open to the public, will begin at 4:30 p.m.
Located on the southwest side of the Capitol Mall, the memorial will include a 7-foot bronze statue of Humphrey, a former vice president and U.S. senator from Minnesota.

Others scheduled to speak at the dedication include Gov. Mark Dayton, U.S. Sen. Amy Klobuchar, former Gov. Arne Carlson, civil rights activist Josie Johnson, and former Minnesota Attorney General Hubert H. "Skip'' Humphrey III, representing the Humphrey family.
State Sen. Richard Cohen, DFL-St. Paul, will serve as master of ceremonies.
